Well we are winding down our trip. Only one day left here in China. We leave early Thursday morning so Wednesday is our last day. It is Wednesday morning as I write this. We go to the US Consulate today to get Tabitha's visa and leave for the US tomorrow.

There is a nice park along the Pearl River on Shamian Island. They want to keep it clean. The sign attempts to tell us this, with limited success.

We took a mile long walk from Shamian Island across the bridge to Guangzhou. On the way we passed through many Below are some of the things we saw on our way to the Pearl and Jade Markets. We went through spice and food markets.
Ok, the puppie were part of the pets, but the turtles were part of the food.
There were hundreds of stores on the way to the markets and all of them had houses above them.
We also walked through the Guangzhou equivalent of Michigan Ave.
Below is the Lucy's we ate there 4 or 5 times. Western style cheeseburgers. Alex is here with Ana or Ava. Since they are twins I still cant tell the difference.

Is this the dedicated statue to parents who've adopted from China? I have heard about it, but not seen a photo before.
